Shipping Instructions

For your convenience, we have personal laminated shipping tags that you can attach to your hides and skulls for shipment to Tyer's Taxidermy Unlimited. These are especially helpful in keeping your trophies properly identified.

Please enclose a letter stating
the following:

Full Name
Complete Address
Daytime Telephone Number
Hunting License Number
Tag Number or Seal Number

Email Address

Make sure that every package is carefully addressed and that your name and return address appear on the outside of the package. If the contents are perishable or need immediate attention upon arrival, please mark the package accordingly.

Birds, Fish & Small Game
Specimen should be wrapped in a towel, bagged in plastic, then frozen whole. It can then be boxed using newspaper as insulation. Ship Next Day Air first three days of week only.

Large Game
Cape or skin for life size (per Field Care instructions). If necessary, remove skull cap [Figure 7] with antlers attached. Wrap skin around skull and freeze solid. Your trophy is now ready to be packed in an insulated box for air travel or your drive home. In remote areas use Remote Field Care.

Trophies being shipped from outside of the U.S.:

 
1) 60 to 120 days before your planned hunt you will need to be sure your outfitter has filed for any C.I.T.I.E.S. and Veterinarian Permits required.
We will help you process your C.I.T.I.E.S. Permits, should you require assistance.

2) Contact Us for copies of our Trophy Shipping Instructions and our Shipping Tags. Be sure to attach tags to all of your skulls and hides.

3) To assure clearance through customs, copies of any and all Export Permits from country of origin, complete list of trophies, and any Veterinarian or C.I.T.I.E.S. Permits need to be attached to airbills, and originals mailed to Taxidermy Unlimited.

4) When your trophies arrive in the states you will be notified by our agents as to your freight charges and clearing fees.

5) At this time, we will contact you to confirm general mounting instructions. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will begin processing your order.
